Next Destinies was the set to introduce Pokemon EX, this is a type of Pokemon that is more powerful than other versions of Pokemon. All Pokemon EX are basic Pokemon and the cards come in two prints, regular and full art cards. Full Art Prints featured the Pokemon covering the entire card and had a special etching treatment. Starting from Next Destinies in February 2012, Secret cards depicted Shiny Pokemon, these were reprints of cards that had been released previously in Black and White.
99 cards and 4 secret cards exist in this set, with Chandelure #101, & Hydreigon #103 being two of the top cards for the set and 2 of the 4 secret cards. Another card to watch out for is Mewtwo EX #98.
