XY Introduced M Pokemon EX, a variant of Pokemon EX. M Pokemon EX are Mega Evolved Pokemon, Pokemon didn’t require a Mega Stone to evolve in TCG but the turn ends after a Mega Evolve, M Pokemon Ex have one attack and its name was in the artwork in Japanese for English sets, while Korean and Japanese sets showed the name in English. This set also introduced Fairy Type Pokemon to the Pokemon TCG. Released in February 2014, XY had 146 cards and had the two Legendary game Pokemon Xerneas & Yveltal.
