Pokemon Cards Rarities, Foils & Card Types Guide

There are four main rarity tiers in the Pokemon Trading Card Game: Common (black circle), Uncommon (black diamond), Rare (black star), and Ultra/Secret Rare cards numbered beyond the standard set count.

Holographic cards feature foil across the artwork window, while Reverse Holo cards apply foil to the card frame outside the artwork.
